CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Fun Functional Flow-Gentle (TUESDAYS):
Wear your comfy clothes to this class and allow yourself to melt into supportive holds, deep breaths and overall wellness. In this gentle class we will explore different movements to enhance your body’s mobility and flexibility. We will spend more time connecting to the breath to ensure the brain-body connection is optimal which in turn creates better range of motion. This class is suitable for all levels and I encourage you to have a blanket/felt pad/towel, a belt/thera band and a pillow/something that you can sit on.
Fun Functional Flow-Active:
In this class always expect the unexpected. We will combine intelligent functional movements with a sense of play and of course your breath. This class integrates strong poses, some that you're familiar with and some that might be new to you. It will be at a slower pace to ensure that you feel the 'juice' in each moment. Considering you're at home/office we'll get creative with everyday items to use as props. Unroll your mat in the kitchen or wherever you have space and start your day with an energizing Yoga class with ME!
Yoga for Backs:
This Yoga for backs class will help you relieve strain and tension in the body by using long holds in therapeutic postures. Once your body has released into the posture we integrate intelligent slow movement with the use of special props to activate/release the muscular and skeletal systems. This results in harmonizing deeply rooted preference patterns to realign your spine and improve your overall well being. This class is beneficial for everyone including beginners.
Yoga Nidra/Deep Relaxation:
In this Yoga Nidra practice you will melt into a deep Savasana while we travel into the subconscious and unconscious mind. Just 20 minutes is equivalent to 5 HOURS of SLEEP! Stress hormone blockers are released to reduce pain, stress, anxiety and Yoga Nidra promotes the organs to function at a higher level. All Yoga Nidra classes start with a 30 minute Yoga for Backs class. This is a magical combination that you need to try out for yourself.
Power Align:
In this Power Align class we sweat by working hard and intelligently. By moving at a slower pace we will maintain alignment of your core, spine and breath, challenging you to pay more attention to details and be present in the moment. You will provided plenty of time to properly move into and out of postures with options to challenge your strength and flexibility to your own degree. After working your whole body, the class closes with a deep relaxation meditation.
OG Flow, Ashtanga:
This class is based on the traditional Yoga Sequence that was created by K. Pattabhi Jois over 100 years ago. The traditional sequence is modified to fit into the 75 minute class and into your busy lifestyle. Come have fun, sweat, and move your body while learning breathing techniques and tricks to quieting your mind. This class is suitable to all levels.
Restorative Yoga
This ancient practice will restore your nervous system, quiet the mind and give your immune system a boost. It's a juicy practice that allows you to rest each layer of the self. Your body is fully supported in each pose and will combine long holds of 5-15 minutes with deep breathing to ensure that you feel like the best version of you when you leave. This is a very special class that needs to be experienced to truly recognize how beneficial it truly is.
